I’m Ken Larimer - a voice actor living in NYC.
My passion for voiceover began over a decade ago at Owl Radio Station in south Florida where I was an on-air DJ/personality and show producer. While at Owl Radio Station, I directed, performed, produced, and edited voiceover for station commercials and promos. It was during this time you could say I…found my voice, and that people would pay me to do something I loved doing everyday!
I decided to move to NYC in 2016 to be closer to where all the voice magic happens and continue to craft my voice into the well oiled machine it is today. Now that I’m a full grown human, I am allowed to talk to strangers and have had the opportunity to network and learn from some very knowledgeable industry folks. I have had the pleasure of learning under CD’s like Roger Becker of VO Syndicate and Carrie Faverty of Sound Lounge, in addition to improving my range and creativity with teachers like Rick Andrews of Magnet Theater and Catya McMullen of The PIT.
Today, I am represented by Katherine Ryan of Buchwald in the world of commercial voiceover and never stop striving to be the voice that “sounds familiar, were you in something?”
